Spectre is a quarterly magazine about the intersection between leftist ideology and art, media, and culture. The magazine discusses contemporary art that engage in leftist discourse, leftist critique, and dialectical materialism, with the goals being to inspire readers to look at art through a leftist lens and to mobilize politically against capitalist structures.
The design of Spectre is inspired by cyberpunk, the “supreme literary expression of... late capitalism,” punk design, and Postmodernism. Photos of the magazine will be added soon!
The posters are to be posted on the sides of buildings and public spaces to provoke passersby into questioning the status quo.
